Essential Qualification
All candidates must meet the following educational requirements.
- A Master’s degree with 55% marks in the relevant subject.
- A 5% relaxation in marks is available for SC, ST, OBC, and Differently-abled candidates.
- Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) or a similar test like SLET or SET.
- Candidates with a Ph.D. degree awarded as per UGC regulations are exempt from NET/SLET/SET.
- A Ph.D. from a top 500 foreign university also grants exemption.
