Essential Qualification
- Common for Medical Candidates
- A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
- A postgraduate qualification like MD or MS in the respective discipline.
- For super specialities a DM or MCh degree is required.

- A Postgraduate qualification like a Masters degree in the allied subject.
- A Doctorate degree from a recognized university in the concerned discipline.

- Ten years of teaching or research experience after MD or MS.

- Six years of teaching or research experience after MD or MS.
