Essential Qualification
- Head Constable Driver Mechanic
- Must have a Diploma in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Must have basic knowledge of computer applications.
- Must know Hindi or Gujarati language.
- Must have a valid Heavy Goods or Heavy Passenger Vehicle license at the time of joining.
Selection Process
- Written Examination: This is an MCQ test with two parts.
- Part A: This has 90 questions about logic, math, and general knowledge.
- Part B: This has 120 questions about the technical subject.
- Total Time: Candidates get 180 minutes to finish both parts.
- Qualifying Marks: You must get at least 40 percent marks in each part separately.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks are taken away for every wrong answer.
- Special Marks: Extra 5 percent marks are given to sports players and widows.
- Physical Standard Test: Checking height and chest size.
