These jobs range from Class-II to Class-IV and are regular positions. The opening date for the online application process is 24 January 2024. Applicants are advised to submit their forms well before the closing date, 26 February 2024, at 11:59 PM.

  • Shorthand speed of 110 W.P.M. in English.
  • Typing speed of 55 W.P.M. on a computer in English.
  • Maximum of 10% errors permitted in shorthand and typing tests.
  • Dictation and typing tests will each be 10 minutes long.
  • Proficiency test will be conducted as per Schedule IV of the R&P Rules, 2015.
  • PH reservation is provided to those suffering from loco-motor disability; however, individuals with normal upper limb can also be considered.
2Stenographer (Class-III)01-URPay Level 11, i.e., Rs. 38,500-1,22,700/-
  • Graduate with 3 years of experience as a Steno-Typist, Judgment Writer, or Stenographer in a government office or reputed organization.
  • Shorthand speed must be 100 W.P.M. in English.
  • Typing speed must be 50 W.P.M. on a computer in English.
  • Allowed up to 10% mistakes in shorthand and typing tests.
  • Dictation and typing tests will each be 10 minutes long.
  • Candidates exceeding 10% error rate in tests will be deemed unqualified.
  • Administrative exigencies will be considered as per the discretion of the Hon’ble Chief Justice.
3Junior Scale Stenographer (Class-III)02-URPay Level 7 i.e., Rs. 28,900-91,600/-
  • Graduate with 3 years of experience as a Steno-Typist, Junior Scale Stenographer, or a higher post in a government or reputed organization.
  • Must have a shorthand speed of 90 W.P.M. in English.
  • Typing speed must be 45 W.P.M. on a computer in English.
  • Allowed up to 10% mistakes in shorthand and typing tests.
  • Dictation and typing tests will each be 10 minutes long.
  • Candidates with more than 10% errors in tests will be disqualified.
  • The Hon’ble Chief Justice may grant exemptions in speed limits or mistakes due to administrative needs.
4Assistant Librarian (Class-III)01-URPay Level 09 i.e., Rs. 35,600-1,12,800/
  • Master’s Degree in Library Science or a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science with 3 years’ experience as Library Attendant or above.
  • Experience requirement is specifically for those with only a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • No experience is required for candidates with a Master’s Degree.
  • Selection test will be conducted as per Schedule IV, Part-I of R&P Rules.

  • Matriculation or equivalent educational qualification.
  • Document Verification (DV) will be based on a 1:3 ratio for minimum educational qualification.
  • Marks will be calculated out of 85, with additional 15 marks for documents as per Schedule IV, Part-T of R&P Rules.

Exam Fee

  • General category exam fee: Rs. 340/- + GST.
  • Reserved category exam fee: Rs. 190/- + GST.
  • Fee relaxation/exemption as per rules.

Age Limit

  • Candidate age limit: 18 to 45 years as of the application deadline.
  • 5-year upper age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC of HP, and persons with disabilities if a post is reserved.
  • Additional age relaxation for HP Govt. employees as per government instructions.
