Age Criteria
The age limit is between 18 to 27 years.
- OBC candidates: Age limit can be relaxed by up to 3 years.
- SC/ST candidates: Age limit can be relaxed by up to 5 years.
- Central Government Servants: Age relaxation up to 40 years.
- Ex-servicemen: Age relaxation up to 3 years for SC/ST (8 years total with the formula 3+5) and up to 6 years for OBC (total with the formula 3+3), after subtracting the years of military service from their actual age.
Qualification
- Must have a valid driving license for both light and heavy vehicles.
- Should have knowledge of vehicle mechanics and be able to troubleshoot minor defects.
- Requires a minimum of three years of driving experience with both light and heavy vehicles.
- Educational requirement: Completion of the 10th grade from a recognized educational board or institution.
- A desirable additional qualification is having served for three years as a Home Guard or as a Civil Volunteer.
