There are total 9 seats available. The age limit is calculated as on 05/12/2025. If you belong to reserved groups you get age relaxation. For SC and ST candidates the relaxation is 5 years. For OBC candidates the relaxation is 3 years. This means SC/ST can apply up to 55 years and OBC up to 53 years.

Essential Qualification

• Assistant Professor (Anaesthesiology, Forensic Medicine, Geriatric Medicine)
  • You need a Medical Qualification (MBBS) recognized by the medical act.
  • You need a Postgraduate degree (M.D.) in the specific subject.
  • You need 3 years of teaching or research experience in the subject after your PG degree.
• Assistant Professor (Emergency Medical Services)
  • You need a Medical Qualification (MBBS).
  • You need a M.D. in Emergency Medicine or Medicine, or M.S. in General Surgery.
  • You need 3 years of experience in the subject. Experience in Casualty or Emergency is preferred.
• Assistant Professor (Clinical Immunology, Gastroenterology, Neurology)
  • You need a Medical Qualification (MBBS).
  • You need a D.M. in the specific Super Specialty.
  • If you have a 3-year D.M. no extra experience is needed. If you have a 2-year D.M. you need 1 year of experience.
• Assistant Professor (Orthopaedics)
  • You need a Medical Qualification (MBBS).
  • You need a M.S. in Orthopaedics.
  • You need 3 years of teaching or research experience in Orthopaedics.
• Assistant Professor (Urology)
  • You need a Medical Qualification (MBBS).
  • You need a M.Ch. in Urology.
  • If you have a 3-year M.Ch. no extra experience is needed. If you have a 2-year M.Ch. you need 1 year of experience.

Selection Process

1. Scrutiny of Applications: First the officials will check all the forms to see who is eligible.
2. Written Exam (Optional): If there are too many applicants a written test might happen to shortlist people.
3. Interview: This is the main step. It can be a Personal Interview or an Online Video Conference Interview.
4. Document Verification: You must show your original certificates for age and education.
