- Professor: Requires Ph.D., significant research (10+ publications), and 10 years teaching. Specializations: Old Manipuri Literature; Economics/Political Science/History/IR for South East Asian Studies (Defence/Strategic/National Security Master preferred).
- Associate Professor: Needs Ph.D., Master’s (55%), and 8 years teaching/research. Specialization for South East Asian Studies: Economics/Political Science/History/IR.
- Assistant Professor: Master’s (55%), NET/Ph.D. Specializations: Botany (Ecology/Plant Physiology/Pathology & Microbiology). For MIT (Civil Eng.): B.E./B.Tech. & M.E./M.Tech. (First Class). For Teacher Education: Master’s in pedagogy/perspectives/arts (55%), M.Ed. (55%), NET/Ph.D.
