Essential Qualification
- Executive Trainee (Geology)
- M.Sc/M.Tech./M.Sc.Tech. in Geology/Applied Geology/Earth Science/Exploration Geology/Mineral Exploration/Geological Technology or equivalent.
- Courses must be UGC/AICTE approved. ODL Degrees are not permissible.
- Executive Trainee (Geophysics)
- M.Sc/M.Tech./M.Sc.Tech. in Geophysics/Applied Geophysics/Geophysical Technology or equivalent.
- Courses must be UGC/AICTE approved. ODL Degrees are not permissible.
For all essential qualifications, the minimum qualifying marks shall be 60%.
Selection Process
- Candidates must have cleared Written Round of UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2023 but not finally selected.
- Applicant lists prepared based on UPSC exam marks for each discipline and category.
- Shortlisted based on UPSC score and MECLs eligibility criteria.
