Essential Qualification
For all medical candidate posts an MBBS degree is mandatory. The specific postgraduate and experience requirements vary by post.
- Assistant Professor (General Disciplines)
- A postgraduate degree like MD or MS in the relevant subject.
- Three years of teaching or research experience after the PG degree.
- Assistant Professor (Super Specialty)
- A super specialty degree like DM or M.Ch in the relevant subject.
- One year of teaching experience for 2 or 5-year courses.
- No extra experience needed for 3 or 6-year courses.
- Non-Medical Candidates (e.g. Anatomy)
- A Masters Degree in the relevant subject.
- A Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) from a recognized university.
- Three years of teaching or research experience after the Doctorate degree.
- Associate/Additional Professor/Professor
- The essential qualification is the same as Assistant Professor.
- Experience required is higher based on the post.
- Associate Professor: 6 years experience.
- Additional Professor: 10 years experience.
- Professor: 14 years experience.
Selection Process
- The selection will be based on the candidate's performance in an interview.
