The age limit for candidates is generally 18 to 25 years as of the last date for online application. However, there is age relaxation for specific categories as per government rules. Essential Qualification
- HC(RO) & HC(RM):
- Option 1:
- Passed 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Option 2:
- Passed 10th grade and have a two-year Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate.
Selection Process
- First Phase: Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
- Second Phase: Computer Based Test (CBT). It's a 2-hour test with 100 questions for a total of 200 marks.
- Third Phase: Document check and medical exam. HC(RO) candidates also have a dictation and reading test worth 50 marks.
- The final selection is based on marks from the CBT and Dictation Test (for HC/RO).
