Essential Qualification
A Master degree in Science or a Master degree in Agricultural Sciences from a recognized University is required for all posts.
- Scientist-B (Genetics & Plant Breeding): Master degree in Genetics and/or Plant Breeding.
- Scientist-B (Sericulture): Master degree in Sericulture only.
- Scientist-B (Plant Pathology): Master degree in Plant Pathology/Plant Protection with specialization in Pathology.
- Scientist-B (Plant Physiology): Master degree in Plant Physiology/Crop Physiology.
- Scientist-B (Agronomy): Master degree in Agriculture with specialization in Agronomy.
- Scientist-B (Soil Science): Master degree in Agriculture/Horticulture with specialization in Soil Science/Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry.
- Scientist-B (Agri-business Management): Master degree in Agribusiness Management / Agricultural Marketing & Co-operation.
- Scientist-B (Agricultural Extension Education): Master degree in Agricultural Extension/Extension Education/Communication.

Selection Process
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on scores from ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) - 2025 exams.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
