Age Limit and Relaxation: The candidate must be at least 25 years old and not more than 30 years old as of 01/01/2025. However, for local residents of Chhattisgarh, the maximum age is relaxed by 5 years, making it 35 years. Further relaxations are available for reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, Women, etc.) up to a maximum age limit of 45 years under all combined relaxations.

- Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, ENT, OBGYN, Radiology, Anesthesia, Psychiatry, TB & Chest:
Candidate must have MD / MS / DNB in the relevant subject.
Must have valid registration with the State Medical Council or National Medical Commission. - Super Specialty Posts (Cardiology, CTVS, Critical Care, etc.):
Candidate must have DM / M.Ch / DNB in the concerned super specialty.
Alternatively, MD/MS/DNB in the broad specialty with special training or experience as per NMC rules may be considered for some posts during the transition period. - Non-Medical Teachers (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology):
M.Sc. in the relevant medical subject with Ph.D. in that medical subject.
This applies to up to 30% of posts if medical teachers are not available. - Experience:
One year as a Senior Resident in a recognized medical college in the concerned subject.
OR
Specialist Medical Officers in Armed Forces with 1 year teaching or 2 years clinical experience.
Selection Process
- Screening: If the number of applications is high, a Written Exam or screening test may be conducted to shortlist candidates.
- Interview: The main selection is based on an Interview which carries 100 marks.
- Minimum Marks: Candidates must score at least 33 marks (Unreserved) or 23 marks (SC/ST/OBC) in the interview to qualify.
- Document Verification: Candidates must show original certificates for age, education, and caste (if applicable) before the interview.
