| Preliminary Exam | It is a screening test. Objective type exam. Exam duration is 2 hours. Total 100 marks. 100 objective-type questions. Syllabus is Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Code of Civil Procedure, etc (check notification for more details). |

Framing of issues and writing of Judgement in Civil Cases (Maximum Marks - 40) Framing of charges and writing of Judgement in Criminal Cases (Maximum Marks - 40) Translation:- (1) English to Hindi- (Maximum 10 marks) (2) Hindi to English- (Maximum 10 marks) |
| Viva-Voce | Maximum 15 marks. Minimum 33% marks are required for the unreserved category. Minimum 25% marks are required for reserved categories. |
