Essential Qualification

Junior Secretariat Assistant (Gen/F&A/S&P)	10+2/XII or its equivalent. Proficiency in computer type speed and in using computer as per the prescribed norms fixed by DOPT from time to time.
Junior Stenographer (Hindi/English)	10+2/XII or its equivalent. Proficiency in Stenography as per the prescribed norms fixed by DoPT from time to time.

Selection Process

Candidates meeting qualifications will be invited for a written exam and computer typing test.
Computer proficiency is qualifying; the final merit list is based on the written exam.
Only candidates qualifying in the typing test will be on the merit list.
The written exam has two papers: Mental Ability and General Awareness & English.
Paper II is evaluated only if Paper I has minimum threshold marks.
The final merit list is based on Paper II marks.
Hindi typing will be in Mangal Font.
