Essential Qualification
The following qualifications are mandatory for all posts:
- Must have passed at least +3 Examination or equivalent from a recognized University.
- Must have passed at least Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized Institute.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write Odia and have passed a test in Odia equivalent to the M.E. standard.
For the post of Stenographer Grade-III, additionally:
- Must possess a minimum speed of 80 words in Shorthand per minute.
- Must possess a minimum speed of 40 words in Typewriting per minute.
- Must have a Shorthand & Typewriting Certificate from a recognized institution.
Selection Process
- For Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist:
- Part-I: Written Test (English - 100 marks, Arithmetic - 100 marks, General Knowledge - 100 marks).
- Part-II: Computer Science Test (Practical) - 100 marks.
- Part-III: Viva-Voce Test - 45 marks.
- For Stenographer Grade-III:
- Part-I: English (Qualifying) - 100 marks.
- Part-II: Shorthand & Type test in English - 50 marks.
- Part-III: Computer Science Test (Practical) - 100 marks.
- Part-IV: Viva-Voce - 35 marks.
