The total number of fellowships is 20. The age for JRF is up to 28 years and for RA is up to 35 years. There is an age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Essential Qualification
- Research Associate (RA)
- Must have a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree in subjects like Physics or Electronics.
- OR
- Must have an M.E or M.Tech degree with 3 years of research experience.
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Must have a Post Graduation degree with first division and a valid NET/GATE score.
- OR
- Must have a B.E. or B.Tech degree with first division and a valid NET/GATE score.
- OR
- Must have an M.E. or M.Tech degree with first division in both graduate and post-graduate levels.
Selection Process
- The selection for the fellowship will be based on an interview.
- Candidates who have their own fellowship from agencies like CSIR or UGC will also be considered.
