Age Eligibility

The age limit for the advertised posts varies. For the post of Controller of Examinations, the maximum age is Not more than 52 Years. For Network Administrator, the age limit is Not more than 45 Years. The age limit for Training & Placement Officer is Not more than 42 Years. For the post of Coach the maximum age is Not more than 40 Years. Age relaxation as per rules.

Essential Qualification

Position Requirements
Controller of Examinations
  • Master's degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade of B in UGC 7 point scale).
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications.
  • Adequate knowledge of English, Hindi, and working knowledge of Gujarati.
  • Experience (One of the following):
    • 15 years as Assistant Professor (pay matrix level 11).
    • 8 years of service (pay matrix level 12 and above, including Associate Professor) with educational administration experience.
    • Comparable experience in research/higher education institutions.
    • 15 years administrative experience, with 8 years as Deputy Registrar (or equivalent).
Network Administrator
  • First Class in MCA/BE/B. Tech. (Computer Engineering/ IT /CSE).
  • CCNA Certified or Equivalent Network Certification.
  • At least 10 years of experience.
  • Good updated knowledge of Computer applications, MS- Windows, Linux etc.
  • Adequate knowledge of English, Hindi, and working knowledge of Gujarati.
Training & Placement Officer
  • First Class MBA in Human Resources/Marketing.
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications.
  • Adequate knowledge of English, Hindi, and working knowledge of Gujarati.
Coach
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education OR Diploma in Physical Education AND Diploma from National Institute of Sport.
  • Record of having represented the University/College.
  • At least 3 times participation in inter-university/national level sports tournaments.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications.
  • Adequate knowledge of English, Hindi, and working knowledge of Gujarati.

Selection Process

Phase Exam Type Details
Phase 1 Primary Examination (Written) Duration: 120 minutes.
Total Marks: 100.
Number of Questions: 100.
Medium: English.
Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer, Negative marking of 0.25 for each incorrect/wrong answer.
Minimum 40% marks are required to qualify for Phase-II
Phase 2 Personal Interview (Oral) Marks: 100
Total 100 Marks
