Fee must be paid via Demand Draft favoring Registrar General, High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh.
Essential Qualification
- Common for Both Haryana & Punjab Posts:
- Enrolled as an Advocate with not less than seven years of practice.
- Gross professional income not less than Rs. 5 lakhs per year (Rs. 3 lakhs for reserved categories).
- Conducted not less than 50 cases per year (40 for reserved) in preceding three years.
- For Haryana Posts:
- Knowledge of basic computer application.
- Passed 10th Grade (Matriculation) with Hindi as a subject.
- For Punjab Posts:
- Passed 10th Grade (Matriculation) with Punjabi as a subject.
Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination (Objective type, if many applications; marks not counted for final result).
- Written Test (750 marks): Five papers covering Civil Law, Criminal Law, General Knowledge, and Language.
- Viva-Voce (250 marks): Assesses personality, English proficiency, GK, and analytical approach.
