For all posts, candidates must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit up to the 10th Grade or in higher education.

- M.Sc (1st Div) or Ph.D in relevant Life Science fields.
- Must have Zoology or Botany at B.Sc level.
- 8 years of research experience in DNA Finger Printing.
- Assistant Director (Lie-Detection)
- Post Graduate degree (2nd class) in Psychology.
- 8 years of research experience in applied Psychology.
- Assistant Director (Cyber Forensic)
- M.Sc (CS) or MCA (1st Div) or B.E. (CS) (1st Div).
- 8 years experience in Cyber Forensics.
- Assistant Director (Toxicology)
- M.Sc (1st Div) or Ph.D in Chemistry or related fields.
- 8 years experience in Forensic Toxicology.
- Senior Scientific Officer (Cyber Forensic)
- M.Sc (CS) or MCA (1st Div) or B.E. (CS) (1st Div).
- 3 years experience in Cyber Forensics.
- Senior Scientific Officer (Scene of Crime/Documents/Physics)
