The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH), Bhiwani is conducting the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2024. The online application process will start on 01/06/2025 and the last date to apply is 05/06/2025. Candidates from Haryana Domicile and All India can apply for this eligibility test. Essential Qualification

  • Level-I (PRT):
    • Sr. Sec. (50%) + 2-yr Dip. El.Ed. OR (45% + 2-yr Dip. El.Ed. per NCTE 2002).
    • OR Sr. Sec. (50%) + 4-yr B.El.Ed. / 2-yr Dip. Ed (Special).
    • OR Graduation + 2-yr Dip. El.Ed.
  • Level-II (TGT):
    • Relevant Bachelor's (50%) + Teaching Degree/Diploma (B.Ed./D.El.Ed./B.El.Ed./Integrated).
    • Social Studies: BA + 2 from Hist, Pol Sc, Eco, Geo, Socio, Psy (50% each).
    • Science: BSc + 3 from Phy, Chem, Bot, Zoo, Maths.
    • Phy. Ed.: Graduate + B.P.Ed. or D.P.Ed.
  • Level-III (PGT):
    • PG Degree in subject (50%) + B.Ed. (Good academic record needed).
    • Comp. Sc.: M.Sc. CS/MCA/B.E./B.Tech. CS/IT (55% aggregate).
    • Phy. Ed.: M.A. Phy.Ed./M.P.Ed. (50%) + B.P.Ed./D.P.Ed.
  • Note: Specific Hindi/Sanskrit subject requirement applies for teacher appointment.

Selection Process

  1. The HTET exam consists of one paper for each level.
  2. All questions are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark.
  3. There is no negative marking.
  4. The duration of the examination for each paper is Two-and-a-half hours (150 minutes).
  5. Total MCQs for each paper are 150.
  6. Qualifying Marks: 60% (90 Marks) for all categories except SC and Differently Abled of Haryana Domicile, for whom it is 55% (82 Marks). SC/Differently Abled of Other States need 60%.

  3. Fill in particulars as per your 10th/secondary certificate.
  4. Upload scanned images of your latest colored photograph, signature, and thumb impression (JPG format).
  5. Pay the requisite fee through the payment gateway.
  6. Take a printout of the Confirmation Page for your records.

The validity period of the HTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be lifetime from the issuance date of the certificate for all levels.
