Selection Process

Steps Process
Online Computer Based Test (CBT) All eligible candidates will be required to appear for CBT.
Passing Marks for CBT will be considered as 50% out of 100 marks test (No relaxation in passing marks will be applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates applying for UR posts).
The online Computer based test will be in English/Hindi language for Section I and for Section II to IV would be bilingual i.e. in English & Hindi language.
Duration of test will be of 90 Minutes. One mark shall be awarded for each correct answer and negative mark of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
95 percent weightage will be given to the marks scored by the candidate in the CBT
Skill Test Only such candidates who pass the 100 marks CBT, shall be called for skill/Typing test.
Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted for 100 marks.
The Typing test would be in English and Hindi language both. Candidate would have an option to choose a language of their preference for appearing to the said test while applying for the post.
The Skill Test will be of a qualifying nature. For preparation of merit list and shortlisting.
Document Verification Shortlisted candidates as per the qualifying skill test and fulfill the eligibility criteria will only be considered for the final merit listing.
After the Computer Based Test, Skill Test and Document verification wherever applicable, the ICMR-NITVAR will draw up the final Merit List for each category of the post.
