Steps Selection Process
Merit List Applicants are shortlisted based on a system-generated merit list derived from 10th-grade marks/converted grades/points.
Document Verification Shortlisted candidates must attend physical verification with original documents.
Provisional Engagement Post-verification, a system-generated provisional engagement offer will be issued.

  1. First, register yourself on the GDS online Engagement Portal at India Post GDS Online.
  2. You will need a valid Mobile Number and active email address for registration.
  3. After successful registration, note down your Registration Number.
  4. Pay the application fee (if applicable) online.
  5. Select the Division and provide preferences for the posts.
  6. Upload scanned copies of your recent Photograph (less than 50kb, .jpg/.jpeg) and Signature (less than 20kb, .jpg/.jpeg).
  7. Review your application carefully before final submission.
  8. An edit/correction window will be available from 06/03/2025 to 08/03/2025.
