Essential Qualification
- Civil Judge (Junior Division)
- A Bachelor degree in Law.
- Or a Barrister of England or Northern Ireland.
- Or any other equivalent law degree recognized by India.
Selection Process
- Preliminary objective type/Screening test: Two papers (A & B), 225 marks each, 2 hours each. Marks for shortlisting only.
- Main Examination: Compulsory and optional papers. Each paper 100 marks, 3 hours each.
- Viva Voce: 140 marks. Assesses intelligence, general knowledge, personality, aptitude.
- Physical Fitness Test: Must be in good mental and bodily health.
