Essential Qualification
- For Secondary Acharya:
- Master's Degree in the respective subject with at least 50% marks.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree.
- A 5% relaxation in marks is available for SC/ST and PwD candidates.
- For Secondary Acharya (Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Computer Science):
- M.Sc. (CS/IT), MCA, or M.E./M.Tech (CS/IT) with at least 50% marks. OR
- B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT) with 50% marks and a PG Diploma in Computer Application.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree with at least 50% marks.
- For Special Education Acharya (Secondary):
- Master's Degree from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. in Special Education or B.Ed. (General) with a diploma in special education.
- Must be registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
Selection Process
- Main Examination: The selection will be based on a single-stage Main Examination which will be OMR based or a Computer Based Test (CBT).
- Exam Pattern:
- The exam will have two papers conducted in two shifts.
- Paper 1 (Qualifying): It includes General Knowledge and language skills. Candidates must score at least 33% to qualify.
- Paper 2 (Merit Based): This paper will be on the specific subject of appointment. The marks from this paper will determine the final merit list.
- No Negative Marking: There is no penalty for wrong answers in either paper.
- Document Verification: Candidates who qualify in the main exam will be called for document verification.
