Selection Process

| Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT) |
Written test in CBT mode. CBT test shall consist of 120 questions. 40 Questions will consist of MCQs from General Knowledge, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning. 80 questions shall be MCQs from trade / discipline-specific questions. Qualifying marks for the written test are 40%. Exam duration will be 2 hours. Each correct answer will fetch 01 mark to the candidate. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. No negative marking for unanswered questions. |
| Stage 2: Skill Test |
Based on the performance in the written test, candidates shall be shortlisted discipline-wise in order of merit, based on the call ratio of 1:5 for the skill test.
Skill test will only be qualifying in nature. Qualifying marks of the skill test are 40%. |
| Merit list | Final merit list will be prepared based on the marks of CBT test of those candidates who qualify in the skill test. |
