Technical Assistant (Power Station) Full time regular Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks.

Minimum 02 years post qualification experience in Switchyard / Switchgear/ Electrical Testing/ Transmission System/ Distribution System/ Transformer Maintenance / Electrical Maintenance in a Power Plant/any process industry.
Full-time regular Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.

Minimum 02 years post-qualification industry experience in supervision/execution in Maintenance activities of Ash Handling/ Boiler/ Turbine/ Coal Handling Plant/Water Treatment Plant/Mechanical Maintenance in a Power Plant/any process industry.
Full-time regular Diploma in Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 60 % marks

Minimum 02 years post-qualification experience in Control & Instrumentation Maintenance activities in a Power Plant/any process industry.
Full time regular B.Sc. in Chemistry with minimum 60% marks

Minimum 02 years post-qualification industry experience in supervision/execution in Water Treatment Plant process and water analysis (RO plant, DM Plant, and pre-treatment plant) / Boiler Water Chemistry / Cooling Water treatment / Bulk Chemical analysis / Coal sampling and analysis in Power Plant / any process industry.

Should have knowledge of analytical instruments/environment parameter testing etc.

Selection Process

Stages Selection process Details
Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT) Written test in CBT mode.
CBT test shall consist of 120 questions.
40 Questions will consist of MCQs from General Knowledge, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning.
80 questions shall be MCQs from trade / discipline-specific questions.
Qualifying marks for the written test are 40%.
Exam duration will be 2 hours.
Each correct answer will fetch 01 mark to the candidate.
0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
No negative marking for unanswered questions.
Stage 2: Skill Test Based on the performance in the written test, candidates shall be shortlisted discipline-wise in order of merit, based on the call ratio of 1:5 for the skill test.
Skill test will only be qualifying in nature.
Qualifying marks of the skill test are 40%.
Merit list Final merit list will be prepared based on the marks of CBT test of those candidates who qualify in the skill test.
