Selection Process

Stages Process Details
Computer Based Test (CBT) Objective Type, 02 hours duration.

Sections: General Awareness, concerned subject, English Language and an Aptitude test.

Qualifying Marks for General, EWS and OBC candidates: 45% minimum.

Qualifying Marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates: 40% minimum.

No negative marking
Shortlisting for Interview Candidates shortlisted in 1:5 ratio based on CBT Score.

In case of a tie, candidates with higher marks in CBT will be preferred, if there is a tie in CBT marks also then older candidate will be preferred.
Interview Qualifying Marks for General, EWS and OBC candidates: 60% minimum (09 marks out of 15).

Qualifying Marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates: 40% minimum (06 marks out of 15).
Document Verification Document verification for shortlisted candidates will be done after interview
Medical Examination Selected candidates will have to clear medical examination as per ONGC rules.
Final Merit List Based on CBT Score (85 marks) and Interview (15 marks).
