Essential Qualification
- Junior Management Trainee (Electrical)
- Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
- Minimum 50% marks for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.
- Junior Maintenance & Operator Trainee (JMOT)
- 10th Grade (HSC) pass or equivalent.
- National Trade Certificate in Electrician Trade.
- Minimum 60% marks in trade certificate.
- Minimum 50% marks for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.
- Lineman-MV Permit (with learner permit for Workman-HT) from ELBO required at document verification.
Selection Process
- Computer Based Test (CBT):
- Both posts: 200 Multiple Choice Questions, 3 hours duration.
- Pattern: Subject Domain Knowledge (80%), Numerical/GK & Reasoning (10%), English Knowledge (10%).
- Marking: 1 mark for correct answer, negative 0.25 marks for wrong answer.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks CBT: UR 50%, SC/ST/PwBD 40%.
- For Junior Management Trainee (Electrical):
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted from CBT in 1:3 ratio. No qualifying marks.
- Final Merit: CBT (80% weightage) and Personal Interview (20% weightage).
- For Junior Maintenance & Operator Trainee (JMOT):
- Skill Test: Shortlisted from CBT in 1:3 ratio. Involves climbing towers/structures.
- Final Merit: CBT (80% weightage) and Skill Test (20% weightage).
