The total number of seats is 1518. This includes 47 seats for Forester, 896 seats for Forest Guard, and 575 seats for Excise Constable.
Age Relaxation Details:
- SC, ST, SEBC, and Women candidates get 5 years extra.
- Persons with Disabilities get 10 years extra.
- Ex-Servicemen get extra years based on their defense service time.

Essential Qualification
- Forester:
- Must pass 12th Grade Science.
- Must have basic Computer skills.
- Forest Guard:
- Must pass 10th Grade High School Exam.
- Excise Constable:
- Must pass 12th Grade in any subject.
Important Note: Every candidate must be able to read, write, and speak the Odia language. You must have passed a language test in Odia at school.
Selection Process
- Written Test:
- This is a 100 marks exam with multiple choice questions.
- Subjects include Math, General Studies, English, Odia, and Computer.
- The exam time is 2.5 hours.
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 for wrong answers.
- Physical Standard Measurement:
- Officials will check your height, weight, and chest size.
- Physical Efficiency Test:
- Forester and Forest Guard need to finish a walking test.
- Excise Constable needs to finish a running and long jump test.
- Document Verification:
- You must show your original school certificates and ID cards.
