Selection Process
Steps | Selection Process Details |
Stage 1 | First stage Computer Based Test (CBT) common for all the notified posts. This CBT is for screening purpose and the questions will be of objective type with multiple choice and difficulty level will be of 10th standard. |
Stage 2 | Based on merit of candidates in 1st stage CBT, shortlisted candidates will be called for second stage CBT. The questions will be objective type with multiple choices, difficulty level will be graduate level. |
Stage 3 | Only for Station Master post - shortlisted candidate from second stage CBT as per merit will appear for Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT).
Candidates need to score a minimum T- Score of 42 to qualify this exam. For Junior Account Assistant Cum Typist & Senior Clerk Cum Typist - Typing skill test of qualifying nature will be conducted. Candidates should have a typing speed of 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi. |
Stage 4 | Based on the candidates performance in the above mentioned stages, they will be called for Document verification. The shortlisted candidate for document verification needs to produce the original and two self attested copies of required documents, |

How to Apply
- Create Account and already have an account.
- On submitting the preliminary information , One Time Passwords (OTPs) will be sent to the mobile number and email address registered.
- Retrieve the OTPs from email address and mobile and submit the OTP to proceed for payment through "Activation link"
- Upon successfull activation of OTPs, candidates will get a registration number, Preserve and Note it as RRBs do not entertain any requests seeking registration number.
- Candidates need to log in again to fill online form with the help of Registration number and Password .
- Fill personal and Educational Details correctly.
- Proceed for payment ( Payment mode available - Debit Card/ Credit Card / Internet Banking/ UPI)
- Select priority/preferences number in the text box for eligible posts/railway zone and submit.

Yes, for every incorrect answer, there will be negative marking of 1/3 rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be made in CBTs exam.
For which categories the age relaxation is given ?
Age relaxation will be provided for various categories which are mentioned below:
