The age limit for all posts is a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 40 years as of 01/01/2026. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules. For example, men from reserved categories get a 5-year relaxation, while women from the same categories get a 10-year relaxation.

Essential Qualification
All candidates must have working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture. The detailed qualifications are below:
- School Lecturer (Most Subjects): Post Graduate degree in the relevant subject with a Degree or Diploma in Education (B.Ed.).
- School Lecturer (Home Science): Post Graduate degree in Home Science with a Degree or Diploma in Education (B.Ed.).
- School Lecturer (Biology): Post Graduate in Life Sciences with Botany and Zoology at Graduation. Also requires a B.Ed. degree.
- School Lecturer (Commerce): Post Graduate in Commerce with B.Com. Also requires a B.Ed. degree.
- School Lecturer (Drawing): Post Graduate in Drawing or a four/five-year Diploma in Arts.
- School Lecturer (Music): Post Graduate degree in Music.
- Lecturer (Physical Education): Graduate with a Post Graduate in Physical Education/M.P.Ed. (2 years).
- Coach (Various Sports): Graduate with a Degree or Diploma in Physical Education and a National Institute of Sports (NIS) Certificate.
Selection Process
- The selection will be through a competitive examination.
- The exam will have two papers: Paper-I (General Studies) for 150 marks and Paper-II (Subject Concerned) for 300 marks.
- All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- There will be negative marking of 1/3rd for every wrong answer.
- Candidates need to score a minimum of 40% in each paper to qualify.
