Essential Qualification
- Statistical Officer
- Second Class Masters Degree in Economics or Statistics.
- Or Second Class Masters in Mathematics or Commerce with Statistics.
- Or Second Class M.Sc (Agriculture) Statistics.
- Certificate in RS-CIT or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of experience in handling official statistics.
- Knowledge of Hindi (Devnagri Script) and Rajasthani culture.
Note: The experience requirement is not needed for candidates with a First Class Masters Degree, a Doctorate, a two-year training in statistics, or for SC/ST candidates.
Selection Process
- The selection process will include a written examination.
- The exam will have objective-type multiple-choice questions.
- There will be a negative marking of 1/3rd for every wrong answer.
- Candidates must mark one of the five options for each question.
- Leaving a question unanswered by not darkening any circle will also result in a 1/3rd mark deduction.
