The total number of seats available is 100. The Junior Environmental Engineer (JEE) has the most seats. The age limit is calculated as of 01/01/2026. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years old.
Age Relaxation Rules: There is an extra age limit relaxation as per government rules. SC, ST, OBC, MBC, and EWS men from Rajasthan get 5 years extra. General category women get 5 years extra. SC, ST, OBC, MBC, and EWS women from Rajasthan get 10 years extra. People with disabilities and ex-servicemen also get relaxation.

Essential Qualification
- Junior Scientific Officer (JSO): You need a First Class Master Degree in Chemistry, Soil Science, Environmental Science, or Microbiology.
- Junior Environmental Engineer (JEE): You need a Master Degree in Environmental Engineering.
OR
You need a First Class Bachelor Degree (B.Tech or B.E.) in Biotechnology, Chemical, Civil, Mining, Environmental, or Textile Engineering.
Note: If you are in the final year of your degree, you can still apply, but you must show proof of passing before the exam date.
Selection Process
- Written Exam: There will be an Online Computer Based Test. The paper will have two parts (Part A and Part B).
- Exam Details: The exam will have 75 questions total. Each question carries 3 marks. The total marks are 225. The time given is 90 Minutes.
- Negative Marking: Yes, 1 mark will be cut for every wrong answer.
- Document Verification: Candidates who pass the exam will be called to check their original documents.
- Merit List: The final selection is based on the marks scored in the online exam.
