Essential Qualification

  • Common Requirement for most posts: Candidates must have completed their high school and higher education through English medium from a recognized school/college. This condition is relaxed for Hindi and Sanskrit teaching posts. The English medium requirement is also relaxed for professional qualifications like B.Ed./D.Ed. etc.
  • Lecturer:
    • Post Graduate degree in the relevant subject (English medium, second division).
    • B.Ed. qualification is mandatory.
    • For Social Science Lecturer: PG in Politics/History/Economics/Geography (English medium) with B.Ed., and two of these subjects at graduation.
  • Head Reader (Primary School):
    • Graduate degree (English medium, second division).
    • B.Ed./D.Ed. training is mandatory.
    • 03 years of work experience is required.
  • Assistant Teacher (Science Lab):
    • Higher Secondary (10+2) in Maths/Biology stream (English medium, second division).
  • Teacher (Middle School):
    • Graduate degree in the relevant subject (English medium, second division).
    • B.Ed. qualification is mandatory.
    • TET qualified (Upper Primary level).
  • Assistant Teacher (Primary School):
    • Higher Secondary (10+2) in the relevant subject (English medium, second division).
    • D.Ed. or D.El.Ed. qualification is mandatory.
    • TET qualified (Primary level).
  • Librarian:
    • Graduate degree (English medium, second division).
    • B.Lib. training is mandatory.
  • Computer Teacher:
    • BCA/B.Sc. Computer Science/BE Computer Science/BE Electronics/B.Tech Computer Science/B.Tech Electronics or equivalent (English medium, second division).
  • Exercise Teacher:
    • Graduate degree (English medium, second division).
    • B.P.Ed. training is mandatory.

Selection Process

  1. Shortlisting: Top 15 candidates per post/subject will be shortlisted based on academic merit. Marks are weighted:
    • Lecturer: 12th (20%), Graduation (30%), Post Graduation (50%).
    • Teacher, Computer Teacher, Exercise Teacher, Head Reader: 10th (20%), 12th (30%), Graduation (50%).
    • Assistant Teacher, Assistant Teacher Science Lab: 10th (50%), 12th (50%).
  2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates undergo document verification.
  3. Demo (Screening): A 20-mark demo assesses teaching ability, communication, and subject knowledge.
  4. Interview: A 20-mark interview will be conducted.
  5. Final Merit List: Based on academic merit (60 marks) + Demo (20 marks) + Interview (20 marks), totaling 100 marks.
