Essential Qualification
- For Professor Posts:
- Generally, a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
- Published work of high quality and evidence of research.
- Minimum 10 years of teaching or research experience. For Engineering, specific AICTE norms apply.
- For Veterinary posts, a recognized veterinary qualification and registration are essential.
- For Associate Professor Posts:
- A Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
- A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.
- Minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience. For Engineering, specific AICTE norms apply.
- For Assistant Professor Posts:
- A Master’s degree with 55% marks in a concerned/relevant/allied subject.
- Must have cleared the NET/ SLET/ SET or possess a Ph.D. as per UGC regulations.
- For Engineering, B.E./ B.Tech./ B.S. and M.E./ M.Tech./ M.S. with first class.
- For Veterinary posts, a recognized veterinary qualification and registration are essential.
- Note: A 5% relaxation in marks is available for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per rules. Specific disciplines for each post are detailed in the advertisement.
Selection Process
- For Assistant Professor:
- Shortlisting based on Academic Score (Table-3A) and a 40 marks written exam.

- Interview (Maximum Marks 20). Final selection on interview performance.
