Paper II: General Studies, Essay and Comprehension |
Description:
Essay component can be written in English or Hindi. Precis Writing, Comprehension, and other communications/language skills in English only. Note: Answer in medium authorized by the commission in paper. Marks: 200. Duration: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (3 hours). Nature of Exam: Descriptive type. Syllabus: Part-A (80 Marks): Essay questions to be answered in long narrative form in Hindi or English. Topics include modern Indian history, geography, polity, economy. Part-B (120 Marks): Comprehension, précis writing in English Only. Topics are Comprehension passages, précis writing. |

Paper-I will be evaluated first. Paper-II evaluated only for those who qualify in Paper-I. |

- First, complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) on the website. Registration is needed to done for only one time.
- After registering in OTR, proceed to fill out the online application form for the examination.
- Upload scanned copies of required documents, including date of birth proof and category certificate, photograph & signature.
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 200 online (if applicable). SC/ST/Female candidates are exempted from payment.
- Submit the application form before the deadline on 25/03/2025.
