Essential Qualification

  • I.M.A. and Officers Training Academy, Chennai:
    • Degree from a recognised University or equivalent.
  • Indian Naval Academy:
    • Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
  • Air Force Academy:
    • Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) OR Bachelor of Engineering.

Candidates in their final year/semester of a Degree course can also apply, provided they submit proof of passing by the prescribed dates.

Selection Process

  1. Written Examination: Objective type question papers.
  2. Interview for Intelligence and Personality Test (SSB): For candidates qualifying the written exam. This includes a two-stage selection procedure (Stage I and Stage II).
  3. Medical Examination: As per prescribed physical standards.

There will be a penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers in the Objective Type Question Papers. For IMA, INA & AFA, subjects are English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics (100 marks each, 2 hours each). For OTA, subjects are English and General Knowledge (100 marks each, 2 hours each).

  3. Fill the examination-specific module for CDS Examination (II), 2025.
  4. Upload necessary documents as per the instructions. Aadhaar Card is strongly advised as ID.
  5. Pay the application fee, if applicable, through the online modes provided.
  6. Submit the application form before the last date.
