Essential Qualification
- District Sports Officer
- Graduation degree from a recognized university.
- Represented a team as a player in national competitions.

One of the following diplomas:
- Diploma in Sports Coaching from NSNIS Patiala, SAI Bangalore, SAI Kolkata, or SAI Thiruvananthapuram.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Coaching (PGDSC) from LNIPE, Gwalior.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Coaching (PGDSC) from Swarnim Gujarat Sports University, Gandhinagar.
Preferential Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Served a minimum of two years in the Territorial Army, OR
- Possess a National Cadet Corps B or C certificate, OR
- Participated as a player in international sports competitions.
Selection Process
- Written Examination (Objective Type):
- Paper I: General Studies, General Aptitude Test & General Hindi (100 questions, 200 marks, 2 hours).
- Paper II: Games and Sports related (100 questions, 200 marks, 2 hours).
- There will be negative marking for wrong answers (1/4th mark deducted).
- Interview: 50 Marks.
- Document Verification.
