Essential Qualification
- For Scientific Assistant (B) (UR Post):
- Full Time Science Graduate degree with 60% marks.
- Subjects can be Physics or related fields.
- OR Full time Diploma in Engineering with 60% marks.
- Fields can be Electronics or related fields.
- For Scientific Assistant (B) (SC Post):
- Full Time Science Graduate degree with 60% marks.
- Subjects can be Chemistry or related fields.
Note: Knowledge of using personal computers and its applications is required for all posts.
Selection Process
- The selection process will have a Written Test and a Personal Interview.
- In some cases the selection may be based on a Personal Interview only.
- Candidates with experience in vacuum systems or optics will be preferred for the UR post.
- Hands-on experience with lab instruments is needed for the SC post.
- Final selection will be based on performance in the recruitment process.
