Essential Qualification
The following qualifications are generally required. Candidates must have cleared NET/SET or have a Ph.D. as per UGC regulations unless specified otherwise.
- Assistant Professor (General): Master’s degree with 55% marks in a relevant subject.
- Assistant Professor (Music/Drama): Master’s degree with 55% marks or be a professional artist with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Assistant Librarian: Master’s in Library Science with 55% marks and knowledge of computerization.
- Director of Physical Education: Master’s in Physical Education with 55% marks and a record of representing at university/state/national level.
- Assistant Professor (Management): Bachelor’s degree, MBA / PGDM / C.A. / M.Com with first class, and two years of experience.
- Assistant Professor (MCA): B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. with First Class or B.E./B.Tech. and MCA with First Class.
- Assistant Professor (Nanoscience): M.Sc. in relevant science subjects and a Ph.D. degree with publications.
Selection Process
- The selection will be on a purely temporary (Ad-hoc) basis.
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on their application.
- Selection will be through an online interview.
- Final appointment is subject to verification of original documents.
- Knowledge of the Marathi language will be preferred.
