  • Certificate issued under regulation III/I read with 1/3 STCW 95/Inland Vessels Act.
Junior Director

  • Two years of experience in programming System design under latest operating systems, relational databases, front-end tools, and networking.
Master Gr. II

Selection Process

Stage Details
Online Test
  • Consists of 5 sections: Subject Knowledge, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and English Language.
  • Conducted in English.
  • Negative marking of 1/4th for incorrect answers.
  • Minimum qualifying marks:
    • General: 40%
    • OBC: 35%
    • SC/ST/PwBD: 30%
  • Cutoff applied to individual and total scores.
  • NMPA may alter minimum qualifying scores and restrict the number of candidates shortlisted.
  • Tie-breaker criteria: higher marks in technical section, then older candidate.
Interview
  • Shortlisted candidates for Class I posts will be called for an interview.
  • Interview details will be in the call letter.
  • No changes to interview schedule will be entertained.
  • NMPA may hold supplementary processes if needed.

  • Original and self-attested photocopies of documents are required at the interview.
  • Non-submission of documents will disqualify the candidate.
