  • Four years Integrated Degree Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks OR Bachelor's Degree in the relevant/concerned subject(s) with at least 50% marks.
  • B.Ed. or equivalent degree.
  • CTET/UPTET Qualified*.
* Relaxation of 1 year given for acquiring this qualification to those serving AMU School teachers not having B.Ed/CTET/UPTET.
Primary Teacher
  • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education.
  • CTET/UPTET qualified.*
*Relaxation of 1 year for UPTET/CTET to AMU School teachers serving not having this qualification.
Primary Teacher (Arts)
  • Senior Secondary (with Arts) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
  • OR Senior Secondary (with Arts) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education
  • OR 5 years Diploma or Bachelor’s/ BA Degree in drawing and Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Art (recognized).
