Essential Qualification
- Forest Beat Officer & Assistant Beat Officer
- Must have passed the Intermediate Examination (12th Grade).
Physical Requirements for all posts:
- Men: Height: 163 cms, Chest: 84 cms (5 cm expansion).
- Women: Height: 150 cms, Chest: 79 cms (5 cm expansion).
- Height is relaxable for certain categories like Gurkhas and ST.
- Candidates must pass a walking test. Men must walk 25 Kms in 4 hours, and women must walk 16 Kms in 4 hours.
Selection Process
- Screening Test: An offline OMR-based test if many applications are received.
- Main Examination: An offline written test for shortlisted candidates.
- Physical Tests: Includes a walking test and a medical examination.
