Essential Qualification
- Forest Ranger
- A Bachelor Degree in Science or Engineering is required.
- The degree must have at least one of the following subjects.
- Subjects: Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Other subjects include Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, or Horticulture.
- Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science, or Zoology are also valid.
Selection Process
- Written Examination: This includes papers on English, General Knowledge, and two optional subjects for a total of 600 marks.
- Walking Test: Male candidates must walk 25 km and female candidates must walk 16 km within 4 hours.
- Medical Examination: Candidates must pass a medical fitness test conducted by the Medical Board.
- Interview: Qualified candidates will be called for an interview which carries 75 marks.
