The age limit will be determined as of 25/08/2025. Age relaxation is available for certain categories. APST candidates get a relaxation of up to 5 years. PwBD candidates get a relaxation of 10 years (15 years for APST PwBD). Ex-Servicemen will also get age relaxation as per government rules.

Essential Qualification

  • Constable (AAPBn), Constable (Civil Police), Fireman, Library Attendant, Laboratory Attendant, Manual Assistant:
    • Must have passed Class 10th Grade from a recognized Board.
  • Constable (Tax, Excise, Narcotics), MTS (All posts):
    • Must have passed Class 10th Grade or ITI from a recognized Board or Institution.

Selection Process

  1. For Constable and Fireman posts (Codes 15/25 to 18/25):
    • Stage-I: Written Test (200 Marks, 2 Hours).
    • Stage-II: Physical Standard & Efficiency Test (Qualifying).
    • Stage-III: Medical Fitness Test (Qualifying).
  2. For all other posts (Codes 19/25 to 29/25):
    • Stage-I: Written Test (200 Marks, 2 Hours) only.
  3. Final merit will be based on marks from the written examination.
  4. There is no negative marking in the exam.
