  • Bachelor Degree from a recognized University
  • At least 3 years experience as Private Secretary or relevant in Govt Dept Universities
  • Skill Test Dictation 100 wpm Transcription 40 mins English or 55 mins Hindi on computer
  • Computer proficiency Typing Word Processing Spreadsheet Internet Email
• Junior Assistant:
  • Senior Secondary School Certificate 10+2 or equivalent
  • Typing speed 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on Computer
• Library Attendant:
  • Passed 10th or equivalent examination
  • Certificate in Library Science Library and Information Science

1. Written Exam Structure: Generally Paper I (MCQ) & Paper II (Descriptive).
   • Librarian/Director PE: Paper I (MCQ) only.
   • Junior Assistant: Paper I (MCQ) + Paper II (Essay/Comprehension).
   • Library Attendant: Paper I (MCQ) only.
2. Exam Duration: Varies; Paper I (2-3 hrs), Paper II (1.5-3 hrs). Extra time for PwBD.
3. Syllabus Outline:
   • Paper I: Gen. Awareness, Reasoning, Math, Language (Eng/Hin), Post-Specific (if any).
   • Paper II: Descriptive, Essay, Comprehension, Letter, Situation Test, Computer (varies by post).
4. Skill Test (Qualifying): Required for Sr. Personal Assistant (Dictation/Transcription) & Junior Assistant (Typing). OMSP Instructor details awaited.
5. Negative Marking (Paper I MCQs): Generally -1/4 mark. Exception: Librarian/Director PE (-1 mark).
6. Qualifying Marks (Min.):
   • General Posts (Papers I & II): UR 45%, OBC 40%, SC/ST/PwBD 35%.
   • Librarian/Director PE: Cutoff based on top 5% avg. score (with relaxation).
7. Shortlisting Process: Based on written scores for Skill Test/Interview. Librarian/Director PE Interview Call Ratio: Min. 30 (1st vacancy) + 15 (each addnl.) per category.
8. Merit List Basis: Combined Paper I & II scores (if applicable). Exception: Librarian/Director PE (written test only for shortlisting, not final merit).
9. Interview Requirement: Only for Librarian & Director PE.
